To assist faculty, staff, and students pursue the research goals of the University, the CRC offers a variety of software and high-end machines for research computing.
Obtaining Your CRC Account
To apply for an account with the CRC, send an email to the CRCsupport@nd.edu with:
- your name (First, Middle, Last)
- netID
- phone number
- status (student, faculty, etc.)
- your sponsor's (advisor's) name, title, and netID (unless you are a faculty member)
You may direct questions about CRC accounts to CRCsupport.
The CRC Basics class is a co-requisite for obtaining a CRC account and using the resources. The first hour of the class is an orientation to CRC. The second hour is optional, in which we encourage users to bring their laptops so that we can properly configure them to use the CRC (and Notre Dame) resources. All classes are free. Available dates and times of classes are listed on the CRC Training site.
