DESCRIPTION:
Maintenance scheduled for the Data Center firewall and university external network connection.
MAINTENANCE DATE & TIME:
Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 6:00 am - 7:00 am.
IMPLICATION OF THIS MAINTENANCE:
Most OIT services will be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance including Administrative Services, campus Internet access and those services that rely on Oracle or SQL databases.
WHO IS AFFECTED:
Users on-campus and off-campus of most OIT services will be affected during this maintenance period. Connection to Union Station and Gramtel will also be disrupted during the maintenance.
WHAT IS BEING DONE:
OIT staff will be upgrading the Data Center Firewall and moving the university external network connection.
USER ACTION NEEDED:
None.
