Drone Images Track Changes in Ecology

Drone technology plays an increasing role in data collection for environmental studies. For the REDI-NET program, drone images such as the one shown here of a sampling site in Belize are used to track changes in the ecology of a water body through the seasons. These are analyzed to determine impact and develop/update sample collections strategies.
