Summer Scholars

The Center for Research Computing (CRC) offers an intensive, two-week session on Notre Dame's campus where students are introduced to High-Performance Computing (HPC) and have the chance to build and operate their own “supercomputers,” albeit on a smaller scale.

While students with a background in computing are encouraged to apply, prior experience is not required. Participants in Research Computing are encouraged to explore how research computing—and its intersection with AI, machine learning, and tech ethics—can be applied in their areas of interest. Whether you aspire to be a doctor, lawyer, engineer, scientist, entrepreneur, or philosopher, this course will equip you with the knowledge to effectively integrate computer research into your chosen career path.
