Alan Malta joined the Center for Research Computing (CRC) in 2022 as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, Alan is responsible for designing, building, integrating and maintaining scientific applications for large-scale data processing, computing and storage infrastructure. Alan is also an active member and contributor of the CMS collaboration at CERN. Before joining Notre Dame, Alan spent 10 years at CERN, working in multiple roles of the CMS Computing Operations, as well as Workload Management and Data Management projects. Alan holds a bachelor's degree in Digital Systems Engineering from UERGS, Brazil.
