Maria Vyushkova joined the Center for Research Computing (CRC) in 2018 as a quantum computing research specialist. She works on research projects in the fields of quantum algorithms, quantum programming, and chemistry applications of quantum computing. Vyushkova is based at Notre Dame California facility in Silicon Valley. She completed her M.S. at Novosibirsk State University and Ph.D. at V.V. Voevodsky Institute of Chemical Kinetics and Combustion, both in Novosibirsk, Russia. Before joining the CRC, Vyushkova conducted her postdoctoral research at Notre Dame Radiation Laboratory.
