Samuel Rund specializes in issues of mosquito and other biting insect disease-vectors. He researches the role circadian rhythms play in shaping disease transmission. Through his work on several projects and initiatives, he facilitates the use of surveillance and other forms of data in combating disease transmission. Sam completed his B.A. at DePauw University and his Ph.D. in Biology at the University of Notre Dame. He joined the Notre Dame faculty in 2021.
